Acceptance of Terms

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of FieldLog, a ByldGo product, including the mobile app, fieldlog.byldgo.com, tryfieldlog.com, and related services (the "Service"). You accept by checking the required checkbox at signup (GC Admin) or on the invite page (Team Members, Viewers, and Subs) — pre-checked boxes or use alone do not constitute acceptance. If you sign up on behalf of a company, you represent that you have authority to bind that company.

Accounts & Roles

GC Primary Admin — primary account owner. Full control of company settings, billing, users, projects, and final log approval.
GC Admin — company/project administrators. Manage projects, users, assignments, and logs. Intended for project executives, PMs, senior supers, and office administrators.
GC Team Member — GC field & project staff. Superintendents, assistant supers, field engineers, and other GC employees. They can create and submit daily logs, complete tasks, and upload project photos.
Viewer — read-only project access. Can view logs, reports, and photos without editing. Good for owners, owner’s reps, architects, and office staff.
Subcontractor — outside trade companies. Limited project access for subcontractors and trade partners. They only see and manage their assigned work.
Owners — owners and investors receiving daily log reports. Access is granted through a separate read-only magic link process, not the standard invitation flow used for every other role.

You are responsible for credential confidentiality and all activity under your account. Report unauthorized use to hello@byldgo.com.

Subscription & Billing

Monthly: $129/month · Annual: $1,290/year (2 months free) · each covers up to 10 active projects.
Add-on: $50/month for 5 additional active projects (up to 15 total), via the web billing portal.

Owners, Subs, and invited users are free — only the GC company is billed. No free trial; subscription starts upon successful payment. First-time companies get a 30-day money-back guarantee once per company (full refund if canceled within 30 days of first subscribing). Payment is processed by Stripe on a recurring basis until you cancel from Settings → Billing.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service unlawfully, submit knowingly false information in logs, access others' data without authorization, reverse-engineer the Service, disrupt its integrity, or store unlawful or infringing content. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

Content Ownership & Sealed Records

You retain ownership of content you submit (voice recordings, photos, log text, project data). You grant ByldGo a license to store, process, and display it as needed to provide the Service.

Once a log is submitted and approved, it becomes a sealed, immutable record. Corrections use a linked Amendment Request only — the original is never altered or deleted, including on account closure. Names and emails of submitters and approvers are retained permanently as part of the record.

Limitation of Liability & Indemnification

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, BYLDGO WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES. TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM WILL NOT EXCEED AMOUNTS PAID TO BYLDGO IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM.

You agree to indemnify ByldGo for claims arising from your misuse of the Service, your content, or violation of law. ByldGo will indemnify you for third-party IP infringement claims regarding the Service as provided, subject to standard notice and cooperation requirements.

Termination, Changes & Governing Law

We may suspend or terminate access for Terms violations or fraud. Account closure follows the read-only retention in Section 3.5 and does not delete sealed records.

We may update these Terms with notice to GC Admins for material changes. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

These Terms are governed by Utah law. Disputes are resolved by binding AAA arbitration in Utah on an individual basis (no class actions), except for small claims or IP injunctive relief.
